Jaynes Park is still somewhat of a diamond in the rough. Jaynes Park is an 11.4-acre area of open space that has been used primarily for picnicking. It is located on the west side of Taylorville. The park has three baseball fields, basketball, tennis courts, and playground equipment. Red Bland Little League tee-ball and machine pitch baseball take place at Jaynes Park. Picnic tables and restrooms are also available.
