Small Town Taylorville is pleased to present the twilight parade on December 3rd starting at 5pm. Line up will be at the corner of Madison and Main Cross at 4:30 and there will be someone there to assign people their spot in the line-up. This year’s parade marshals are the 40 MPH Car Club so we’re sure to have some great automobiles in the parade! US Bank will be serving complimentary hot chocolate in front of their lobby.

Judges will view entries as they pass US Bank and we want to encourage parade entries to “light up” their entries. Small Town Taylorville will be handing out 1st, 2nd, and 3rd cash prizes for parade entries.

 

Contest entrants will need to have their group or individual name on the right-hand side of their entry so that Judges will know who you are.

We’re expecting The Grinch to stop by and try to take all of the fun out of the parade, but we’ll show him just how awesome a Taylorville Christmas can be! Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive as the last entry in the parade. Children will be able to leave a letter for Santa expressing their wishes after the parade until December 19 and if they leave a return address Santa will write them back.
